The Thracians are part of the ancient roots of our region and our people, and the name felt like a natural bridge between past and present. I wanted this brand to carry something real behind it—not just a modern technical label, but a name with memory, identity, and character.

The name NERENEAS is rooted in history, inspired by the Ring of Ezerovo—an ancient Thracian gold artifact. In one interpretation of its mysterious inscription, the name “Nereneas” appears, and I was immediately drawn to both its unique phonetic resonance and its profound historical depth.

NERENEAS began with a refusal to accept the limitations of the past.
That search led to a breakthrough: Cassius—the world’s first external tape head preamplifier for cassette decks.
By bypassing internal electronics and extracting the raw signal directly from the tape head, we unlocked a level of fidelity the format had never revealed before.
That same pursuit of uncompromised sound defines everything we build.

When we turned to signal routing, we found a market defined by compromise.
